The Establishment Process

By joining Theta you have the opportunity to be a leading woman and positively impact Colorado School of Mines and your community while holding yourself to the high standards reflected in our core values.

In Theta, you can explore your leadership potential, you can achieve high academic success, you can make a difference in the lives of others by exercising the widest influence for good. And you can develop life-long friendships.

As a Theta you will have a common bond with over 256,000 women all over the world who share the same ritual experience since 1870. This bond of sisterhood lasts beyond your college years and truly is indescribable.

Being a charter member of Theta, you can be a part of shaping the traditions for the chapter, you can help create an identity on campus, you can establish a chapter based on high ideals and you can make significant contributions to your community. Being a charter member is a once in a lifetime opportunity and one that can change a collegian's life and their campus experience.

Like our founders, you can create a chapter that will nurture you as an individual and enhance your time in college and beyond. For all these reasons and so many more – we hope you will Think Theta!
